Nefastis is an Italian Symphonic Death Metal band, founded in 2008 by Andrea Lenzi & Simone Colombo.

The band debuted in 2014 with the concept album “De Diebus Fastis, Nefastis, Infaustis” a Thrash/Death metal concept album divided in 4 Acts, half instrumental.

Following the release of the debut the band shared the stage with: Toxik, Onkel Tom Angelripper, Leprous, Hirax, Bonded by Blood, Methedras and more.

Shortly after the line up disbanded forcing the band to a hiatus.

In this period, the sound drastically changed from a more Thrash/Death metal to a Symphonic Death Metal style.

A new concept album has been composed, recorded, mixed by Frank Altare and mastered at Fascination Street Studio by Toni Lindgren (Angra, Amorphis, Kreator, Dimmu Borgir, Opeth, Powerwolf).
