Nefastis is a Italian Symphonic Death Metal band, founded in 2008 by Andrea Lenzi & Simone Colombo.
Debuted in 2014 with the concept Album “De Diebus Fastis, Nefastis, Infaustis” a Thrash/Death metal Concept Album Divided in 4 Acts, half instrumental.
Following the Release of the debut the band shared the stage with: Toxik, Onkel Tom Angelripper, Leprous, Hirax, Bonded by Blood, Methedras and more.
Shortly after the line up disbanded forcing the band to a hiatus period.
In this period, the sound drastically changed from a more Thrash/Death metal to a Symphonic Death Metal style.
A new Concept Album has been composed, recorded, mixed by Frank Altare (Scott Ian, Kee Marcello, Dough Aldrich , Bumblefoot, Matt Starr, Exilia, Mark Boals) and mastered at Fascination Street Studio by Toni Lindgren (Angra, Amorphis, Kreator, Dimmu Borgir, Opeth, Powerwolf).
The new Album will be released in 2023 beginning of 2024.
